Lazer Broadcasting

The story of Lazer Broadcasting is one of  hard work and the ability to seize opportunities as they arise. With hard work and dedication, the company has grown from 1 station to 19. It delivers high-quality Hispanic audiences with excellent demographics.

Lazer Broadcasting was established in Oxnard Calif., on Aug. 5, 1991 with the first Station KXLM 102.9 FM, Radio Lazer.

In February 1994 Lazer Broadcasting purchased its second station, KXRS 105.7 FM, located in Hemet in Riverside County. In September of 1995 KXSB 101.7 FM started transmitting from Big Bear, in San Bernardino County.

From there, the company continued to grow, adding

* KLJR 96.7 FM in Ventura County established in 1997. This established the first “La Mejor” station with the Meixcan oldies format.
* KOXR 910 AM the oldest Spanish language station in Ventura County, acquired in 1998, with a Mexican regional format.
* KSBQ 1480 AM in Santa Maria, in 1999.
* KBTW 104.5 FM in Barstow in 1999.
* KLMM 94.1 FM in Morro Bay in 2000.
* KLUN 103.1 FM in Paso Robles in 2000.
* Siglo 21 weekly newspaper in 2000.
* KCAL 1410 AM in Redlands in 2001.
* KSRN 107.7 FM in Reno, Nev., in 2003.
* KZER 1250 AM in Santa Barbara in 2004.
* KXSM 93.5 FM in Salinas in 2005.
* KXZM 93.7 FM in Salinas in 2005.
* KSSB 100.9 FM in Calapatria in 2005.
* KCEL 106.9 FM in Palmdale in 2005.
* KTMT 580 AM in Medofrd, Ore., in 2005
* KSRT 107.1 FM in Santa Rosa in 2006.
* KJOR 104.1 FM in Santa Rosa in 2006.
